Pitch your startup in Germany at the Investor Days Thüringen event in June

Wednesday May 02, 2018 , 2 min Read

Here’s an opportunity for early-stage Indian startups to go to Germany to be part of Investor Days Thüringen event scheduled from June 19 to 20, 2018.

One of the largest startup events in Germany, the Investor Days Thüringen brings together actors of the innovative business community in the middle of Germany in Erfurt. Around 600 attendees, including startups, growth companies, investors, managers, incubators, potential customers, and industry experts will be part of the Investor Days Thüringen.

Two Indian startups will have the chance to get their flights paid to the Germany event, which is part of the German Indian Startup Exchange Program.

With its motto ‘Enter the next level’, the two-day event provides the suitable platform to explore innovative business ideas, find investors, get together with German industry, and expand business network. Twenty selected early-stage projects get the opportunity to present their business idea to potential investors as well as to a large audience with a three-minute pitch on stage.

The focus of the second day will be on technology-oriented growth companies. Thirty companies from bm-t’s portfolio will present themselves to investors and potential cooperation partners. Last year, bm-t was able to arouse great interest with the successful IPO of InflaRx company and Fayteq, which was sold to Facebook. This year offers the opportunity to discover additional compelling companies and meeting the Thuringian world market leaders in optics, automotive, life sciences, cybersecurity, and healthcare.

For the early-stage startups, there will be the possibility to get in touch with the SMEs and industrial world market leaders in Germany. In addition, there is the German-India Day, a day before the event organised by the Indian Embassy in Germany.

Participation in Investor Days Thuringia requires online registration. The deadline is May 6 for entrepreneurs who would like to give an elevator pitch and take part in the Innovation Area.
