Kanu Gupta started out as an investment banker, but the calling of food was far greater. His love for food took shape as bootstrapped Savor, a gourmet experience company run by chefs, and offering a lunch subscription service, and a supper club called the Secret Supper Project. The Mumbai-based company also curates events under the Savor Experiences vertical that include catering, sit down dinners, canapé events, and chefs’ tables.

Founded in 2016 by Ajoy Khandheria, Gramin Healthcare looks at the problem of access to affordable healthcare in India's hinterland. Kiosk by kiosk, this Gurugram-based healthcare startup is transforming healthcare in rural India. The technology platform connects patients with doctors, diagnostic labs, pharma firms, and even insurance providers. The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) bought 26 percent stake in Gramin Healthcare in April last year.

Delhi-based Shopperts is an online reselling platform encouraging women - whom they call "social sellers" - to promote products among their personal group of 200-500 people through Whatsapp and Facebook. With Shopperts, derived from “Shopping with Experts”, Founders Sumit Mittal and Dipanjan Chakroborty Shopperts show women how to become an entrepreneur from their homes. The startup takes the reach of smaller brands to a larger audience and relevant consumers.

When actor Jacqueline Fernandez found nothing in the market for the modern, active, and stylish Indian woman, she turned businesswoman with athleisure brand Just*F. Her fashion-meets-function brand will be launched next month, along with the Just*F website. The startup will target consumers between 20 and 35 years of age, and will initially offer clothing before moving on to footwear, gym bags, and fitness accessories.

The easiest way to update your home is to give it a new coat of paint, but the process of painting can run into months and be extremely cumbersome. That's why Bengaluru-based online services provider AapKaPainter promises to resolve the pain points of painting. Founded by Anupam Singh Chauhan and Dhivya Raghavan, the startup connects homeowners with design consultants and painters, and taps technology to make painting homes and offices a hassle-free experience.

Bengaluru-based TagUnlimited merged with MADD Square Creations and Nishchit Lifestyle to solve companies’ merchandise branding needs. The bootstrapped startup aims to be a “one-stop platform for all merchandising needs for branding”. It is targeting individuals, companies, educational institutions, and the hospitality industry by catering to their merchandise requirements, from conceptualising and sampling to production.

Not to worry for this Haryana-based startup has sugarcane juice bottled up for easy use. Founded by Dipin Kapur, Neeraj Jalan and Sachin Goel, Nutricane Beverages launched its product OMG! (from the term, Oh My Ganna) in November 2017. A patent-pending proprietary process, FreshFusion, allows the company to offer a product with over 80 percent natural juice content.
