Noida based Glam Studios, India’s first brand of affordable salons, announced that it has expanded its services in Gurgaon and has currently tied up with 5 salons in the city at various locations.
Glam Studios was conceptualized in October 2015 and started operations from January 2016. The chain currently has 30 salons across Delhi/NCR, and Hyderabad and caters to more than 300 customers per day.
“With almost every big brand present in this market and a huge number of standalone salons, Gurgaon has an immense potential for affordable premium services. We entered the Gurgaon market in Mid April and within a month have received a great response from both salon owners as well as customers. We are in talks with a long list of salons and are planning to activate 15 salons in the next 3 months,” said Sadiya Naseem, Founder & CEO of Glam Studios.
The company brings about a two-fold standardization in the operational processes of Salons that signup – firstly infrastructural and aesthetic changes to the property to brand them as Glam Studios as well as training to the staff, and secondly offering its CRM software to fully automate the operations and quality-of-services rendered. The salons are bookable for customers through the website www.glamstudios.in & an upcoming mobile application. The start-up is also working on a unified beauty services platform which addresses salon, booking and customer relationship management, a model which is currently non-existent in the sector. Salons as small as 500 sq. ft. can sign-up as Glam Studios without any capital expenditure.
Glam Studios is running high on its spate of success and aims at acquiring 500 salons PAN India by the end of financial year 2016. “As the industry is witnessing a notable development, our company is uniquely equipped to tap into this rapidly-growing opportunity. Post Gurgaon, we shall continue our expansion to other metros. adds Sadiya.
