This is a story of Ashwini Jagtap, 42 years housewife having done Graduation in Arts and with two kids, who is actively handling the Solar EPC Business and helping her husband in Manufacturing Business.
when asked about her life before joining Business, Ashwini tells that, " I was not at all intended or interested in Business as being a National level Volleyball player, my whole focus from child hood was in sports and not at all in to academics. After Marriage, I was a typical Indian Housewife who was indulged totally into her home, Kids, Husband and family. "
Then what makes her enter into Business and that too so Technical and full of Challenges and work on field ?
" My Father in Law and Husband are having an Engineering Business since last 40 years. But as my husband, Unmesh, has completed his Masters and Research from USA in Solar Energy, he always had that passion and desire to start something in Solar to give back his knowledge to society and use his strong R&D and Business contacts all over world to offer latest technologies to especially Rural and Low income population in India."
Unmesh started working in Solar Energy sector since 2009 and started actively doing Projects after year 2014 with the vision and mission of our Honourable PM, Narenrda Modi ji. As it was increasingly difficult for him to focus on both Businesses and handling Finance, Marketing and Technical fronts for both the businesses, he asked for help form Ashwini to join hands with him.
" I was totally clue less for whole 6 months and was just used to sit in office listening and trying to understand what is happening !! I had no idea about even e-mails left alone about other computer things .."
But as they say, women have this great power of learning, understanding and also managing too many things at the same time. This was proved again and today Ashwini has completed almost 40 Sites of Solar Projects including houses, hospitals, NGO's, Banks, Petrol Pumps, Temples, Schools, Farms and so on..
She is also active in working with Janseva Foundation since completing their Hospital Solar Project and has become like a family member for all the Senior Citizen's staying in the Old Age Homes run by the Trust. She handled Three projects at Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai, all by herself and she is sure that this experience of working under blessings of God Ganesha has given her all the confidence and strength to tackle any challenges that come in her field works.
Ashwini, Marketing and Projects Head, Unpa Engineering and Ino-Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd, strongly believes that once shown trust and given authorities and responsibilities, there is nothing impossible for an Indian House wife !!!
