Christopher Lopes is an engineering graduate who took the plunge into the computer business a couple of years ago and serviced customers like BARC, Crompton Greaves, Godrej, Indian Airlines, Indian Navy, Maruti Udyog, ONGC, Western railway, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) etc.

Christopher Lopes was always passionate about technology and hence stumbled upon the idea of creating a mobile application for blue collar job seekers.

According to a study by Ernst & Young, out of a total workforce of almost 500 million, 93% of the Indian job market is in the unorganized sector. Since India has a population of around 1.2 billion people it makes this business a Billion Dollar opportunity.

Today almost every Indian middle class family requires some sort of domestic help which varies from Housemaids, Babysitters, Cooks, Drivers, Helpers etc. Kaamkhoj has accepted this challenge and is currently serving households throughout the country that may have any requirement for any kind of domestic help that they may require.

In a few months after starting www.kaamkhoj.in has earned revenues of Rs.20, 00,000 and we are currently growing at more than 100% every quarter.

We are currently bootstrap and we don’t believe that getting funding should be the only goal of any start up because once a start up generates revenue a lot of investors would automatically fall in line. We at Kaamkhoj believe in focusing on customer experience and each day we have a team whose only goal is to elevate our customer experience because we believe that our customers are our best sales force.

Our Accomplishment:

Some of our accomplishments in the last 6 months include:

We commenced operations towards the end of 2015 and in a few months have successfully completed a pilot project thereby earning revenues of Rupees 20,00,000 during the period. This revenue has come in from employers spread all over the country.

The Opportunity:

Given the stage that we are at in our business growth, we would like to present an opportunity to investors and propose an investment which could be discussed. This opportunity will allow us to continue our current aggressive expansion, thus offer the investor an opportunity to gain a healthy return. Keeping in mind the gigantic size of the Indian informal job market we can easily garner revenues of Rs.100 million per year with immediate effect and grow at a CAGR of more than 100% per year for the foreseeable future.

Our peers in the similar space have recently been funded with a valuation of about US$ 100 Million.
