Don't get bogged down by unwanted thoughts

In today’s world everybody is rushing and hustling towards their passion and in the process they never look what is going down inside. Have you noticed random thoughts about something you don’t like; is something bothering you despite your continuous effort to go away from it. Have you ever got struck in some thought and not able to stop thinking about it.

It's because we don’t understand ourselves. Our mind is a threshold of potential which needs to be tapped. Self introspection is a beautiful thing which allows to streamline our mind, defragment our thoughts and put it back all in track.

The obsession of certain things comes because we focus too much on the product we desire to come out of. The following simple steps will help to get rid of those thoughts:

1). Thoughts are a reflection of your past actions(imprints/Karma).

2). Look inside your mind, you are not your thoughts. Assume thoughts as a rippled water, each ripple is a thought and you are just observing it.

3). Don't go with the unwanted thought. Ignore them, they will be coming out again and again, the more you ignore the lesser it will affect you

Always remember thought is not you, it is what you have created ,so you have the strengh to modify it. So next time when a unwanted thought comes remember it is a playback of the imprints that you have created. Without imprints there are no thoughts. Thoughts don't arise without any base. So be happy and harness the potential of your mind. The power of thoughts have always been bolstered from time to time by many great people

The true purpose of education is to create minds not careers -Gandhi

Fill the brain with high thoughts, highest ideals, place them day and night before you, and out of that will come great work  - Swami Vivekananda

When you look outside, your mind is limited by the volume, pressure and time of that thing - Vethathri Maharishi
