InSolare Energy Pvt. Ltd. is a System Integrator and Solar Energy EPC provider. InSolare Energy Pvt. Ltd joins the select group of very few EPC companies to commission a 5 MWp Solar Power Plant in India. The plant that was commissioned in Kutch, Gujarat, was completed in record time. It has also reached a very high level of productivity in an extremely limited time span.
InSolare Energy Pvt. Ltd has successfully commissioned a 5 MWp Solar power plant in Shivlakha, Kutch, Gujarat. This plant was one of the very few to be commissioned before 31st December 2011 under the Gujarat Government Solar Phase II Policy. The plant has been designed to use thin film technology and an advanced tracker design, which has resulted in it achieving the highest possible productivity in the country. The plant is designed to achieve up to 25% higher productivity as compared to a standard design with crystalline modules and fixed tilt mounting, the improved productivity reduces the cost of generation to be best in class.
“This plant will be one of the largest thin film plants with tracking in Asia. We are very proud that we commissioned this 5 MWp project in a record time by utilizing our technology and project management expertise in design, engineering and construction” declares Dr. Sunit Tyagi, CEO of InSolare.
“Apart from the expected technical challenges, which as a technology driven company we were prepared for, we were also able to cope with some unforeseen delays due to the unusually heavy rains and supply issues from our vendor” states Dr. Hemanshu Bhatt, CTO of InSolare.
The plant has been designed to withstand earthquakes in the Zone 5 region, and also wind speeds exceeding 150 km/h. System has been designed with redundancy built into it, with multiple transformers and switchgears that ensure that there is no single point of failure in power generation or transmission, this will minimize downtime and improve revenues over years of operation.
