Themis acts as a one stop shop for all start-ups and SME’s in handling their key back end functions. With the aim of allowing promoters to focus on their core competencies, Themis embeds itself and acts as the clients’ Accounting, Company Secretarial or HR team.

The team of experts manages:

  • Accounting - book-keeping, tax calculation & filing, analytics, reporting etc.
  • Company Secretarial function - Incorporation, trademark registration, ROC filing, legal advice etc.
  • HR function – HR manuals, Setting JD’s, KRA’s, KPI’s, outsourcing of the HR function etc.
  • Design of necessary systems and processes with the aim of scalability
  • MIS reports
  • Fund raising

Nibhrant Shah is the founder and CEO of Themis. A serial entrepreneur, Nibhrant sold his first business at the age of 21. Nibhrant has a B.A Economics from Northwestern University (Kellogg School of Business). He has also worked as an Investment Banker in New York and London, before returning to India and holding senior positions in karROX Technologies Ltd. and Eyeglobal Technologies.

The company offices are located in Mumbai and Bangalore. Themis partners with early stage businesses in entirely handling their back-end functions including the HR, Accounting and Company Secretarial functions. Themis’ has partnered with over 70 start-ups in the e-commerce, education, food processing, healthcare and retail spaces. And works with portfolio companies of Norwest Venture Partners, Mumbai Angels, Blume Ventures etc.

“Even though we were incorporated less than a year ago, we have had the opportunity to work with over 50 companies. The biggest highlight definitely involves working with some of India’s coolest start-ups. The promoters we support are of exceptional quality, and some of our clients have the most innovative ideas. I am confident that India is going to be a future global start-up hub,” says Nibhrant.

They currently partner with over 50 clients in the e-commerce, education, food processing, healthcare and retail spaces. And work with portfolio companies of Norwest Venture Partners, Mumbai Angels, Blume Ventures, WarburgPincus etc.

Currently bootstrapped, the firm is actively looking for funding avenues.
