At the age of seven, this Mysuru girl can drive 17 different vehicles

Age is just a number, and seven-year-old Rifah Taskeen has proved it with her skills and talent that has left the world awestruck. She has created a world record for driving the largest number of multi-wheeler vehicles.

Rifah is a Class II student of St Joseph’s school at Bannimantap, Mysuru. Inspired by her father, Tajuddin, a tiles dealer and a former famous racer, she took a liking to driving. Her mother is a government school teacher and the family resides in NR Mohalla, Bannimantap.

With her mind set on entering the Golden Book of World Records, on November 6, 2017, Rifah drove a lorry, Mahindra Bolero, Tata Ace, Mahindra Scorpio, Toyota Fortuner, Maruti 800, Maruti van, Maruti Esteem, Maruti Zen, Santro, Ford, an ambulance, a Hyundai Verna, a Tata Indica and a Quad bike among others. However, as she was an underage driver, she had to wait for the State government’s approval to attempt the feat. Her father had modified and lowered the level of the seats in the vehicles to suit her height, reports Deccan Chronicle.

On the day of the event, Rifah drove even drove 10-wheeler truck at Idgah Maidan for nearly 15 minutes, with her father's instruction.

Tajuddin always dreamt of becoming an international racer and looks to his daughter now to fulfill that dream.

In an interview with the News Karnataka, Rifah spoke about her parents and her future plans:

It’s because of my father's encouragement and support that I managed to achieve this. I want to achieve more and bring greater laurels to my parents, to my city Mysuru and the country. In days to come, I want to take part in car racing. I want to become a fighter pilot.
