Fitness brand Boldfit adds KL Rahul as strategic investor
Digital first brand Boldfit joins other D2C players aligning with athletes like KL Rahul to position themselves as fitness first brands.
Fitness brand Boldfit has onboarded cricketer KL Rahul as a strategic investor and a brand ambassador.
Boldfit, which sells everything from yoga mats and water bottles to protein powers and exercise apparel, plans to use the funds to build product lines and expand its customer outreach through engagement, campaigns and community development programmes. It will also focus on strengthening its supply and more efficient logistics for shorter delivery time.
“Being a part of Boldfit feels like coming home. As a Bengaluru boy, I'm proud to join forces with a brand that shares my love for fitness and my hometown. I look forward to contributing to Boldfit's journey and inspiring others to lead healthier lives,” said Rahul in a statement.
Boldfit clocked a revenue of Rs 73 crore in FY24 and plans to cross the Rs 500 crore mark by FY26, it further shared with Yourstory.
The company plans to tap on Rahul’s fanbase and influence to strengthen its market position as it competes with international giants like Decathlon and multiple domestic players.
“Boldfit’s partnerships with top IPL teams such as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Mumbai Indians (MI) highlight its strong presence in the sports and fitness industry,” it said in the statement.
Pallav Bihani started Boldfit in Bengaluru in 2019 to bring affordable but high-quality fitness solutions to consumers. The company says it serves one crore customers annually.
