The Sankalp Forum, an annual conference that aims “to catalyze impact investments into sustainable and scalable social enterprises globally” will be held this year from April 11-13 in Mumbai. Sankalp is an Intellecap initiative that brings together all the relevant stakeholders in the social enterprise ecosystem, and awards the achievements of those who have succeeded in the last year. Details on the 2012 finalists can be found here.
In many ways, Sankalp is like the Indian version of SOCAP, and is a critical forum to bridge investors and entrepreneurs, discuss emerging trends, and encourage collaboration across government, public and private sectors. This year, tracks will focus on Access to Finance, Capacity Building, Knowledge and Talent Gap – all relevant topics for social enterprises.
ThinkChange India will serve as media partner for this year’s Forum, so check back here for coverage leading up to event, as well as a full report on what happens when you bring 700 people involved in the social enterprise ecosystem together in one place.
