Hello, my company is called Biorex Healthcare and we are operating from Gurgaon and are into marketing of our own brands of Pharmaceutical and Novel Nutraceutical formulations. We started off in late 2010 with marketing operations in Delhi NCR and Kolkata regions. The team I chose to launch with in Delhi and Kolkata had been associated with me since 2005 and we all had a good understanding of each other’s expectation levels and delivery/performance levels. This just helped us plan better and turn the venture profitable from the very first month and soon after we launched our operations in UP . We started off with our core competence of Critical Care supplies to institutions and soon had the privilege of supplying into leading corporate hospitals. We gradually spread to other areas in a phased manner and started our marketing operations in Bihar, Punjab, Srinagar, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh. The planning was done in such a way that there was no burden on the company and it always reported robust profits. Till date our bottom line is extremely healthy with a healthy bank balance. Our eye has always been on the bottom line and timely realisations and we have never run after the top line as we do not have any financer and I think this makes a wise business sense too. This approach has helped us in being one of the best paymasters and our salaries match the best in the industry and the approach has helped us in following best HR practises too like mediclaim, statutory requirements etc. Our focus is on a team spirit and healthy work culture. We currently have a total team strength of approximate 100 employees.
We are clocking 10 crores and we feel that the initial struggle is in its last phase and now the time has come to expand and multiply rapidly. We are eying at launching Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh within the next two years. We are foraying extensively into Nutraceuticals and feel that the potential is huge for the same. Having launched quite a few novel nutraceuticals in the field of Orthopaedics, we are now going ahead and launching a slew of Novel products in the field of Gastroenterology. We are not into the antioxidant market( Nutraceuticals are generally perceived as antioxidants ) but disease based therapies for Nutraceuticals.
We aim to be a 25 crore company by the end of 2019 and also to be recognised as pioneers in Nutraceutical Category and also hope to touch a figure of 100 crores by 2025 with a national presence and this is all without any external financing that I am talking about. So far we have been self reliant. I come from a small steel township of Durgapur/Burnpur in West Bengal where I did my schooling and graduation. Kick started my career in 1989 with Johnson and Johnson and there after just progressed into a sales career.I am blessed with good performing team members. I have had the opportunity of launching two companies before undertaking my maiden venture. The learnings of three companies have helped me to be on a sound footing and carry Biorex to where it is now-‘ A Happy Family of Achievers’
