Isha Ambani

Isha Ambani Piramal is an Indian businesswoman and the daughter of the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) Mukesh Ambani and Indian philanthropist Nita Ambani.

Reliance Retail, led by Isha Ambani, crossed the one billion transaction mark in FY23 according to the annual report released by its parent company RIL.

She is also a member of the board of Reliance Foundation, which was set up in 2010 for the philanthropic initiatives of Reliance Industries Ltd.

She launched the online fashion retailer Ajio, which is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail, at the 2016 Lakme Fashion Week.

In March 2023, at the 12th edition of Forbes India Leadership Awards, she won the GenNext Entrepreneur award for scaling the company into the biggest retailer by revenue and store network.

In July 2023, following her work with Reliance Retail, RIL announced that Isha would join Jio Financial as a non-executive director. And with the approval of stakeholders, on July 8 she was appointed alongside Reliance executive Anshuman Thakur who has also been appointed to the same position.
