The theme this year is ‘India 2030: Powered by AI’. Over the years, TechSparks has continued to spotlight bold ideas, transformative innovation, and industry-first narratives–and AI takes centre-stage this time, as seen in the conference agenda and exhibitor lineup (see the full coverage of panels, fireside chats and keynotes here).
The conference sessions feature a galaxy of founders, investors, tech giants, and policymakers. The opening fireside chat between YourStory Founder and CEO Shradha Sharma with serial entrepreneur Mukesh Bansal was aptly titled Tech-SparkX: Why now is the time for India to create global impact in AI and deeptech.
Valuable insights were shared by a range of successful founders on Day 1, including Meghna Agarwal (IndiQube), Mohit Saxena (Inmobi), Kshitij Khandelwal (Pixxel), Priyadarshi Mohapatra (CureBay), Anuj Kacker (Freo), Raghav Chandra (Urban Company), Anirudh Sharma (Digantara), Yashas Karanam (Bellatrix Aerospace), Laina Emmanuel (BrainSightAI), and Anand Jain (CleverTap).

The exhibitor lineup includes the Tech30 startups, tech giants, fintech firms, educational institutes, and ecosystem enablers. Booths from Japan featured the SusHi Tech Tokyo conference and India-Japan Talent Bridge by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

On Day 1, experts shared insights on how AI will create a new breed of Indian tech services and product companies. However, India must invest more in R&D to win the deeptech race, as recommended by Rajan Anandan, Managing Director at Peak XV Partners. Mukesh Bansal, Founder and CEO of Nurix AI, cautioned that this AI transformation will not happen overnight.
Karnataka's IT Minister Priyank Kharge outlined the state's blueprint for becoming Asia's deeptech capital. Bengaluru is uniquely positioned as a global hub for AI talent, GCCs (global capability centres), and venture capital.
In sectors like healthcare, industry leaders advised striking a fine balance between innovation and data privacy. India's next wave of AI-led personalisation, vernacular design, and data discipline will reshape digital experiences for a billion users.
